Part Time Event Jobs

We currently have several part time event jobs. Join Ace Tones Events either as part of our team at Crown Hall Farm in Spalding, or our mobile events team, or both!

This is a flexible job, which can be tailored to work around your lifestyle. It could fit in around your existing job, family commitments or provide a fun way to earn an income for those who are semi-retired. If you are an active person who loves meeting new people, polite, friendly, well presented, reliable and punctual, then this role could be for you.

If you live in or around Spalding, Peterborough, Stamford, Grantham or Bourne, you are within a half an hour drive from Ace Tones and Crown Hall Farm.

The Job 

  • Front of house at weddings and corporate events e.g. serving welcome drinks, working behind the bar or even supporting our chefs in the kitchen.
  • Operate a variety of games and equipment e.g. laser clay pigeon shooting, Giant Scalextric, funfair stalls and photo booths, to name just a few
  • Loading and unloading equipment. Full training is given to ensure everyone lifts weights safely.
  • Arrange props and theming
  • Organise and maintain equipment
  • Driving duties for those who meet the criteria
  • Understand and adhere to legal, insurance and health and safety regulations

Training for all aspects of the job will be provided as required.

The ideal candidate

  • Well presented and polite, with good people skills – You will be customer facing as an Ace Tones team member and will be required to project a professional and friendly image to the public
  • Reliable, with good time keeping – You will have total flexibility as to which events you participate in, but once you have agreed to take part in an event, we need to know that we can count on you to be present on the day
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Confidence to work independently when needed
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and react quickly in any situation
  • Willing to pass knowledge and understanding on to new members of the team
  • Methodical in your work and with a good eye for detail
  • Full clean driving license would be advantageous, but is not essential

Remuneration: Competitive

The starting rate will be increased for those who show aptitude for the job and reliability.
