Tuition

The advantage of music tuition from Ace Tones is that that the teaching schedules are completely flexible, and can be adapted to suit the student.

Our lesson times are structured to suit the individual and available in 45 or 60 minute lessons, or as requested by the student. Lesson frequency is, again, as requested by the student; you can choose between weekly or fortnightly lessons.

Lessons usually take place at the student's home or can be arranged at an alternative site.

We also supply a variety of state and private schools with peripatetic music tutors in Cambridgeshire, Fenland, Norfolk, Leicestershire, Huntingdonshire and London. For further information on Ace Tones Group supplying your school with peripatetic music tutors and instruments please contact us.

Schools

Could your school benefit from professional peripatetic music tuition?

How many of your pupils might wish to take up a musical instrument? How much talent might you have in your midst? Schools across our region are taking up our offer of a free, no obligation musical showcase.

Ace Tones has designed a taster session assembly for schools where experienced, professional music teachers entertain, involve and inform children about taking up an instrument. The students see it all close up, hearing and trying out instruments. And the results are astounding. One school had almost 60 students enthusiastically sign up after listening to the music and sampling the instruments at an assembly – an amazing 30% of those who attended. No school is disappointed with the results. Should pupils then choose to join the happy ranks of their musical peers in the region, Ace Tones are able to advise schools on every aspect of supporting their students.

Ace Tones offer:

  • Professional CRB Registered Music Tutors for any instrument including Vocals with all syllabuses covered.
  • Lessons available for individuals, pairs and groups of three
  • Extremely competitive tuition rates with prices starting as a little as £3.50 per child
  • Instrument Rentals from £40.00 per term
  • Award schemes regularly working together with schools to achieve Music Concerts, Ensemble Groups and Musical Inspiration
  • A free taster session/assembly to help promote music in your school

“I am writing to express my thanks in regards to the guitar lessons that you have provided for us over the past term. The children are really enjoying them and are progressing well. They are growing in confidence and developing a love of music in a way that we as teachers are unable to offer in school hours. All staff and children really do appreciate the time that you have taken to make these creative experiences possible.”
– The staff and children of Stanground St Johns Primary School

“Without the slightest hesitation I would readily recommend Ace Tones and Lewis Slack for their undoubted talents in teaching music. Lewis, himself, taught my son taking him to grade 7 in saxophone by the age of eleven. More than that, however, Lewis imparted a passion for music that impressed my son immensely. Alongside the practical playing side theory was taught successfully through grades 4 and 5. The complimentary subjective view of one parent is sometimes tricky to put into proper perspective. So let me add, to bring independent objective measure to my remarks, that my son won music scholarship offers from both Oundle School and Oakham School against a large number of committed competitors on the foundations of Lewis’s teaching.”
– John Johnston

“I have had the good fortune of working with Acetones for 18 months now and have found them to be highly efficient. The quality of staff is very good and any concerns raised are taken seriously by the company director Lewis Slack. I have found him to be an excellent communicator who always responds within a few hours of any questions raised. His staff are organised and willing to put in extra hours with the students. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.”
– Helena McKillop – Director of Music & Assistant Principal – Ken Stimpson Community School, Staniland Way, Werrington, Peterborough, PE4 6JT

“Absolutely brilliant... The assembly was great fun and the children are very enthusiastic to start learning an instrument.”
– Cherry Wynne – Music Coordinator St John's Church School, Riseholme, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

“The children really enjoyed Crawford's performance. The music sounded great and I think it will really inspire the pupils to take up an instrument. We have over 50 interested potential students.”
— Mrs Sue Bradshaw – Music Coordinator, Park Lane Primary School, Park Lane, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire

“Neil is fantastic with the children, they think it is really cool that he has been playing in Beverley Knight's Band.”
— Dave Brook – Director of Music, Catmose College, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6NU

“Mr Garner is brilliant!”
— Rob Galliard – Head of Music Springwood High School, Queens Way, Kings Lynn, PE30 4AW
